HELPING EXHAUSTED WOMEN CREATE "DREAM-COME-TRUE" LIVES!
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Certified Dream Coach®. Over the years, I found myself juggling the roles of mother, daughter, wife, friend, relative, teacher, speech coach, counselor, and life coach. Too tired at the end of an exhausting day to do anything but fall into bed and wait for the whole cycle to start over again in the morning, my life became filled with endless routines and responsibilities. When I wasn't taking action on something from my "to do" list, I was worrying about things I "should" be doing. It scared me to think that I was living my life as if it were a dress rehearsal for the real thing, and I finally said, "No more!" Always interested in personal growth, I began a journey of self-reflection and self-development aimed at transforming my life.
My commitment is to help other women do so as well.
Last year, I came home from a trip and found the painting, pictured above right, resting on my bed. I had fallen in love with it a few months before when I saw it hanging in a restaurant, but I couldn't afford it. My mother surprised me for Mother's Day, and it is a gift I will treasure for the rest of my life. This painting, by artist Steve Lindley, is open to interpretation; however, for me it signifies the need to take off the masks we wear and put a smile back on the face of the little girl residing within each of us!.
